Love INC (In the Name of Christ)
Love INC of San Mateo County seeks to help the Church put its faith into action by meeting needs of those in the community that aren't met by any other means. Love INC verifies the legitimacy of the need, then either directs the person to an agency that can help, or if no agency is available, looks to the Church to find volunteers willing to meet the need. You can help by filling out a Love Net Inventory that indicates areas where you can help. For example, can you go to the home of an elderly person to help change a ceiling light bulb? How about visiting someone who is lonely, or helping a disabled person move? At the present time, Love INC is in the process of reorganizing. If you would like to help revitalize this ministry, please call Pam Tenn at 591-7007.

St. Francis Center

Trinity has been asked to help by providing disposable diapers, size 5 to Extra Large for St. Francis Center. Please bring the diapers to Trinity and place them in the receptacle in the white cabinet in the atrium. Thank you for making a difference in the community.

St. Francis Center serves needy families in the Redwood City area and attempts to assist such families to allow them to live in dignity and become self-supporting members of the community. It provides essential services for "working poor" families: food, clothing, housing and education. Its motto is "Compassion not Judgment." St. Francis Center is always in need of used clothing in clean and good condition. It also needs volunteers to help in the clothing room and with tutoring. Contact Sister Christina for further opportunities to help at 365-7829.
